A lifestyle family photo session is much more relaxed than a traditional posed photo session. There's no need to worry about everyone looking perfect or smiling on cue; instead, you can just focus on enjoying each other's company and let the me capture candid moments as they unfold naturally.
Imagine having beautiful images of your children that show their personalities and capture them at play or just being themselves. These are the images you’ll want to look back on in 20 years. Lifestyle sessions are particularly well-suited to families with young children, who might be reluctant to sit still for traditional portraits. Of course, there will be some light posing and direction, but mostly I’ll be capturing you all interacting and being your best selves.

Artist time, talent, and expertise from the moment your session is booked, all the way until product delivery day

In order to ensure you are only paying for the images you absolutely love, hi- res digital images and artwork are purchased a la carte, or through packages after your session has taken place. That’s right, YOU get to select your favorite images and decide which form you want them in. After our session, you'll be sent an online gallery with a previewing slideshow to view and make a decision on which package you’d like to purchase.

How it works;01
Select your desired session date from my booking calendar. Once you’ve selected your date, you’ll receive an invoice for the $250 creative fee. Once the creative fee is paid, it time to start planning your session!

It’s session day! We will meet either in your home(newborn sessions), or at our agreed upon session location.You can expect to spend about an hour together, but this will vary depending on each session.

Approximately 1-4 weeks after your session has taken place, you’ll receive an email letting you know that your gallery is ready for viewing. You’ll be given a slideshow for previewing your images, to help you decide which package you’d like to purchase. You have 24 hours to make your decision and purchase your desired package.

Once your package is purchased, you’ll receive an email instructing you on how to receive your digital images! Login into your gallery and select your images for download. At this time you can shop around for albums, prints, and more, using your artwork credit!

The focus is on capturing authentic interactions and everyday moments. Lifestyle family sessions result in shots that feel natural and unstaged because they are! These kinds of photos are less about getting everyone to look just so and more about capturing authentic emotions and interactions. There will be some lightly posed shots, but mostly I’ll be capturing you all interacting and being yourselves. A lifestyle session captures candid moments and real emotions.
How long will the session last?
The length of the session will be unique to each individual family and their needs, but typically last about an hour.
Where will the session be held?
Sessions can be booked to take place within your own home, or outdoors! Location details will be discussed when planning your session.
Studio rental options are available upon request for an additional fee.
What time of day will the session be held?
When booking your family session, you will select an approximate time for that specific day on my booking calendar. However, exact time will vary depending on the weather, and lighting conditions specific to your secured date and will be discussed the week of your session.
How many people can be in the session?
Sessions include all immediate families members. Yes, pets too! Extended family sessions available upon request.
What should I wear for my family session?
It’s important to choose outfits that are both comfortable and stylish. Avoid patterns and logos, as they can be distracting in photos. And be sure everyone’s clothing coordinates well together. I strongly recommend sticking to neutrals or muted tones, as neons and bright colors can have an effect on the overall tones of the image. All clients will receive a more in depth styling guide prior to they session.
What is the turnaround time for receiving the final edited images?
My current turnaround time for images is approximately 3 week
